Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of the Trashman service and mobile app, operated by Trashman LTD ("Trashman", "we"). By creating an account or using the app, you agree to the terms below.

The service

Trashman offers a scheduled trash pickup subscription for one or more addresses in Cameroon. After registering in the app, you get a fixed pickup day and time window for each address on your account.

Account and eligibility

You must provide a valid phone number to create an account and be capable of entering into a binding contract. You are responsible for keeping your account secure and for all activity on it.

Subscription and payment

  • Your subscription is billed monthly, per address, according to the plan you choose in the app.
  • Payments are processed via MTN Mobile Money or Orange Money. Trashman does not store your payment credentials.
  • If a payment fails or is missed, pickup for the affected address may be suspended until payment is resolved.
  • Prices shown in the app may change; we will notify you of any change before it applies to your next billing cycle.

Cancellation

You can cancel your subscription at any time from the app. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; we do not refund partially used periods unless required by law.

Your responsibilities

  • Provide an accurate pickup address and location the truck can reach.
  • Set out trash in line with service guidelines during your scheduled window.
  • Not use the service for unlawful purposes or unauthorized hazardous waste.

Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your account for repeated non-payment, misuse of the service, or violation of these terms, with reasonable notice where possible.

Limitation of liability

The service is provided "as is." Trashman works to ensure reliable pickups but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service (traffic, weather, or other events beyond our control). To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount paid for the affected subscription in the preceding three months.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced in the app, and the "last updated" date above will be revised. Continuing to use the service after an update means you accept the new terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Cameroon.
